I’ve spent a good portion of the day wielding a shovel helping the Northville community group to plant daffodils ready for the spring, I’m knackered.

I’ve spent a good portion of the day wielding a shovel helping the Northville community group to plant daffodils ready for the spring, I’m knackered.
I’ve had a busy day of civicing, so I haven’t had to write a blog, sorry loyal reader.
Yesterday, Jessica, Marianna and I braved the sub arctic weather conditions and headed up to the north end of the borough to Blaenavon to switch on the towns Christmas Lights and sing a couple of carols.
I took Marianna to playgroup this morning, and seriously I had 5 layers on and I still think I might lose a bollock to frost bite
Last night, at the end of a very long and very hungover day I, in mayoral capacity, went to see Cwmbran Baroque Choir, and I must admit it was a nice way to end a very long Saturday.
So today I have (whilst recovering from last nights Christmas party) attended the opening of a new tanning salon, taken the Mini Mayor to meet Father Christmas at Pontypool Market, attended the opening of a new art exhibit at Pontypool Museum all before taking part in the Christmas parade and light switch on in the town. I then had enough time to watch some of the rugby before heading back out to see Cwmbran Baroque Choir.
Tonight was the Labour Party’s Christmas Bash, I drank my body weight, and that was just before I left the house, I’m amazed that I can actually type at the moment. I won a bottle of white wine on the raffle, but didn’t win anything on the auction 😦
